Cherylon Diane Grover, a beloved wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2023, at the age of 66 in Goldsboro, North Carolina.
She was born on August 13, 1956, in Wilmington, North Carolina, to Janie Elizabeth Webb of Wilmington, NC and was preceded in death by her father, Tom B. Langley, and her brother Darryl Langley.
She enjoyed spending her time doing puzzles and watching classic shows like Andy Griffith and The Beverly Hillbillies. She cherished her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren and attending services at the King James Bible Church in Goldsboro, NC.
Cherylon is survived in addition to her mother, her loving husband of 43 years, Earl G. Grover, III; her children, Earl G. Grover, IV, Andrea Davis-Ellison and husband, Xavier, and Jennifer Grover; her brother, Terron Langley; two sisters, Debbie Kidd and Judy Meadows; four grandchildren, Joshua Gifford, Jasmine Davis-Ellison, Brooklyn Adger and Brielle Adger; many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
A celebration of Cherylon’s life will be held on June 3, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the chapel of Wilmington Funeral & Cremation Service.
The family will have a time of visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to King James Bible Church, 701 St. John Church Road Goldsboro, North Carolina 27534.
Cherylon’s kind heart and warm spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her unwavering faith and love for her family and community will continue to inspire us all. Rest in peace, dear Cherylon.
