I am so sorry to hear the sad news. Chris was a friend that I met through local politics when he moved here from Florida. He attended a monthly GOP meeting and became involved here. I got to know him over the past few years. He served as a precinct chair for awhile and faithfully attended meetings and helped get the vote out for our candidates. I had messaged him the other night, hours before he passed and got a response back from him that I will carry with me forever. It was a sign I believe and he knew the Lord was going to take him home. He will be sorely missed. I plan on remembering him at our County GOP Christmas party this Friday at Break Time in Wilmington, 6:30pm.

Damir Perge & Jana Arnold says:
We knew Christopher through his columns and had spoken to him many times on the phone. He was an extremely smart man with great stories to tell and lots of wisdom. He was a very friendly and enjoyable guy to talk to. We were discussing making a movie about his life because he lived such a rich and full life. We are going to miss him dearly.
