    Emily Schilling says:
I am so sorry to hear of his passing. We haven't talked in a very long time, but I always considered him a good friend. We met many years ago in the VA office at UNCW. It was my pleasure and honor to help him with making sure that he received his VA benefits so that he could go on to accomplish all that he did. It helps to read all the wonderful remarks from those whose lives he touched. May he rest in peace and may God bless and watch over his family in this time.
