I had the pleasure of teaching Chris his senior year of high school as he worked on his Graduation Project in English class. His peers and I were blessed to see his beautiful big smile and warm, kind nature each day in class. Chris never had a mean word to say about anyone and he often wore his heart on his sleeve, something unusual in high school but that was just Chris. He definitely had a dress style all his own and was not afraid to be unique. All of his friends at New Hanover High School will miss him. It is a tragedy that the world will not get to find out what kind of artist and man, Chris could have become- we are all so sad for this loss.
