Christopher Scott Parker

Memorial Gifts & Donations

Christopher Scott Parker was born on January 6, 1990. He left the problems of this world when he entered eternal rest on June 22, 2018.

In addition to his parents, Matt and Brandy Wilcox, Chris is survived by his father, Scott Parker; grandparents, Foster Oliver and Jay and Susan Wilcox; one brother, Wyatt Wilcox; six Aunts: Paige Oliver, Amy Wilcox, Jeana Johnson (Chris), Denise Gurganious(Dean), Christy Furr(Steve); special Uncle, Larry Rose(Diane) four additional Uncles: Wayne Oliver (Dawn), Mike Schultz (Amy), Billy Ross (Jo) and Butch Beaudry, a host of cousins and friends and the love of his life, Chelsea Thompson.

He was proceeded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joe and Jeannette Parker and maternal grandmother, Carol Freeman who we know was waiting for him happily at Heaven’s Gate.

In the short time Chris had on this earth, he lived life to the fullest.  When he wasn’t lighting up the room with his brilliant smile and dazzling blue eyes, you could find him and his faithful companion, Elvis, hunting or fishing the days away.

In death, Chris broke the bondage of his addiction and for that we are grateful.  We find peace knowing we will all see him again on the other side.

A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, June 30, 2018, at the Victory Christian Fellowship, 12646 US Hwy 117, Rocky Point, NC 28457.

Clif, Camille and Mary Peyton Deer says:
Christopher was a beautiful young man. While the loss of a loved one is never easy, even when anticipated, it is most certainly the hardest when they are taken from us too soon. While family and friends grieve for the loss of Christopher on this Earth- He is now at peace and happily in the arms of Jesus, and his Memaw. What a wonderful reunion that must have been. Much love, sympathy and prayers to his family and friends.
