Clarine Tharp Yow, age 80 of Wilmington passed away Friday, June 7, 2013.

She was born in Wilmington on April 19, 1933. Her parents were the late Luther and Minnie Tharp. She was preceded in death by her brother, Benson R. Tharp.

Clarine is survived by her husband of 64 years, John Yow; one daughter, Juanita Yow Ahnane and husband Mohamed; one granddaughter, Alexis Rourk; and former son-in-law, John Rourk.
