    Fred Champion says:
i knew Clark for over 15 years from living downtown and i own the music store that he would always stop by and say "hey" then get me to order a tape for him. He was a big fan of the band BOSTON and loved the song GET READY by RARE EARTH. we all know he was a very special person. He was a good friend to me.. my favorite memory of Clark is the time i asked him to be on my TEE VEE SHOW episode.. it was a local show on cable back in the early 2000's. All He had to do was introduce a few music videos.. he messed up quite a bit on the reading of his lines but in the end it was a learning experience and turned out great. i had something wonderful to show the world.. i guess this says something about the nature of Clark in general.. In his Heart he was good and wanted to help and make others happy.. and in his own strange ways he did.. i always felt good when every we meet on the street.. always friendly to me and would ask me about my cats or other people that we both knew. he will be dearly missed and downtown will not be the quite the same without him.

    Cindy Meyers says:
Downtown will never be the same without you. I am at peace, knowing you are now safe. It is funny how many times over the past few years I thought and worried about you. When I was safe in my warm home at night I prayed you were ok and not cold. May you now rest in peace and god bless your family. You taught me alot of life's lessons and I feel I am a better person for knowing you my friend.

    Nicole S. says:
To think that such a memorable fixture is now removed from downtown is strange... what a way to live - in the now, and just as one pleases. Shame that he was so underestimated, overlooked, and even held in contempt, when there was so much to learn from him. So it goes.

I have " known" Clark for 17 years through A dental connection & St. James. He never knew my name, but he knew who I was & he knew I was his friend. I will miss seeing him.
