Clifford “Tiko” Losano of Wilmington, NC, originally from Haleiwa, Hawaii passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Thursday January 23, 2020 at The Lower Cape Fear Hospice.

Tiko, as called by his many friends and family was a lover of the sea. He was an avid fisherman and surfer. Wrightsville Beach will always be his “Happy Place” .

He retired after 27 years of dedicated service to NHRMC as an engineer in 2019. He loved his work family as his own.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Linda.
His children, Michelle (Terry), Jared (Lindsey), Mary (Art) and his “Hanai” daughter Elizabeth Wolfson.
Grandchildren, Jordan, Tori, Mikey, Christopher, Jake and their father, Victor.
Bryce, Koa, Eden, Juliana Jaelyn, Arthur III (Boy), Kaius and Clifford.
He was preceeded in death by his parents Pancho and Feliza Losano.
Also survived by his siblings:
James, Fred (Norma), Sandra, Marshall (Leona), Baxter (Anita) Ricky (Kalena), Billy (Gloria), Randall (Anne), Laverne ( Ross), Vella (Billy), Harold (Momi) as well as many nieces and nephews.
In Laws Beverly (CB) Barrow, Sharon (Jeff) Irby, Wayne Bishop, John (Lynn) Bishop…. Countless friends in the fishing and surfing community.

He will always be remembered for his contagious laughter, smile and love for life, friends and his family.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Lower Cape Fear Hospice for their compassionate and loving care.

A memorial Paddle Out will be announced by the family at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice.

Tiko was a great inspiration to everyone who had the honor, privilege and pleasure to meet him. He was a great ambassador for life. He will be missed.     I'm very so so honored; very thankful to have known Tiko as a great great inspirational person; a great person as a brother in law. He was a person who was more than just a person which means he was bigger greater than who he was as he touched so many hearts everywhere anybody meets him always as a magical words i deeply more than can describe. A role model; hero and somebody who is called as anyone he is as a person. He was a great person as a family a father grandfather a brother uncle cousin a friend any one could even ask for. A legend a gem hearted; loving. Brought together all kinds of people from all colors; all kinds of people all together as if all of us are all his one big family as if he took us all inside his heart that could never be full enough to completely ever be so full!! That's Tiko!!! Thank you for great loving wonderful years I d cherish it to deeply in my hearts as well do know many besides myself feel think know all this same together forever and ever. Best I've seen that touches me so deeply is how he smiles says hi gets us comfortable as everyone is his own especially little children surrounds him and grandchildren now kids or grown all together. The list goes on and on endlessly like a book would never stop and be completed like his heart never was full to make it get full !! Always has open heart that never been closed or ever be closed!! We know he be gone forever which is hard for many to imagine; just remember as we go on with our lives; he always here in our hearts nearest to us all!! Never far or gone!! We Rosie John John also everyone love you more than words we can describe or say no matter what especially Rosie. We all love you Tiko and your name Tiko is a meaning of endless and lists.goas on and on as the waves where you surf to go Olay is endless as love memories is endless also forever as long as this world continues as well until we all meet again.     As this is added to be added since a book and a story of Tiko never is an ending; endless as waves we see make waves also the sounds we hear the sunrises sunsets we see also gardens the trees flowers he always took pictures of was just not only about surfing or himself. Its a meaning of Love of his life and about someone he admires; loves also is the rock of everything about life as a whole complete life. A person who is more has always been from the start and never an ending as it's a red hot lava glows in his heart also a best friend we know through thick and thin he would not made this without love of his everlasting endless love of his lifetime as we all know: Linda is who he always been regarding to as he was in the waters to go play take pictures of sunrises as well sunsets and flowers are symbol of his love of Linda!! We all love you more than you ever know from our hearts to yours especially Tiko s heart shares with yours forever and ever. This is never an ending also as a book as well as waves sunrises flowers glows and family love all are never ending. Its what's called: Tiko Forever and Endless. Best Friend Forever yours Linda! Ur the rock; the lava !!
