Clifton Dale Meadows, of Leland, NC affectionately known as Dale, bid farewell to this world on Monday September 18, 2023, at the age of 63. Born on December 2, 1959, in the small town of Mullens, West Virginia, Dale brought a spark of wit and charm wherever he went. His departure leaves a void that will be felt by his loved ones and a community that adored him.

As we bid farewell to Dale, we take solace in knowing that his spirit lives on in the hearts of his surviving family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clifton Erie Meadows and Phyllis Burke Stone Meadows, as well as his brother, Michael Meadows, and sister, Karen M. Smith.

Dale was a man of many talents and interests. Throughout his life, he found joy in working in News Paper Circulation, ensuring that the latest headlines reached eager readers. But Dale’s passion extended far beyond the ink-stained pages of the news. He was a true Renaissance man.

With nimble fingers and an ear for harmony, Dale was a talented Musician. His melodies danced through the air, bringing solace to those who listened. When he wasn’t creating beautiful music, Dale could be found tending to his beloved Bonsai trees. These miniature wonders were a testament to his patience and skill as he carefully nurtured them to perfection.

Dale’s thirst for knowledge knew no bounds, as he devoured Non-fiction books with an insatiable curiosity. From history to science and everything in between, he delighted in expanding his mind through the written word. His love for learning was infectious, inspiring those around him to explore new realms of knowledge.

Dale’s life was enriched by the love and companionship of his wife, Cindy Sizemore Meadows. Together, they embarked on a journey that spanned four decades, filled with laughter, tears, and unwavering support. Their bond was a testament to the power of love and stood as a shining example to all who knew them. He also leaves behind a number of Nephews and Nieces and Cousins.

Services to commemorate Dale’s life will be planned for a later date, with a burial taking place in Prosperity, WV. It is there that he will find eternal rest, surrounded by the beauty of the land he cherished.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Jimmy Baker “Dales personal Uber driver” and great friend, for the special care he gave in getting him to his doctors appointments and Dialysis.

In the memory of Dale Meadows, let us remember his quick wit, his zest for life, and his unwavering love for family and friends. May his legacy inspire us to live each day to the fullest, embracing our passions and cherishing those we hold dear. Farewell, Dale, may your soul find eternal peace.
