Colon Bruce Roberts, Jr., 81, of Wilmington passed away on May 21, 2023 at Novant New Hanover Regional Medical Center. He was born in Greensboro, NC on December 31, 1946; son of the late Colon Bruce Roberts, Sr. and Helen Walker Roberts. Mr. Roberts loved the outdoors, like sailing and enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. He was a member of the Harley Davidson Motorcycle Club in Wilmington. Also had loved all the animals he came in contact with.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Barbara Newnam Roberts, his brother, David C. Roberts (Linda Roberts), two nephews, Travis Roberts and Nathan Roberts, two brothers-in-law, James Thomas “Tom” Newnam (Sharon) and Michael Newnam (Sherry) and sister-in-law; Diane Markham (Preston).
A service will be held at a later time.
Memorials may be made to charity of one’s choice.
