Connie A. Krol, age 74, of Wilmington passed away Thursday, February 20, 2014 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

She was born November 29, 1939 in Cleveland, Ohio the daughter of the late John Thomas Kovach, Sr. and Mary Ann Kovach. She is predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Robert “Bob” Krol.
She worked for Network Reality since 2007 as a real estate broker.

She is survived by her children, Terri Bell, David Krol, Steven Krol and wife Pam, and Gary Krol and wife Angela; grandchildren, Ryan Ross, Brittany Smith, Jordan Krol, Alyssa Krol, Madeleine Krol, Mason Krol, Meghan Krol, Mary Grace Krol, Joshua Edwards and Linsay Edwards; great grandson, Cole Ross; Brothers, John Thomas Kovach and Thomas John Kovach; and devoted companion, Tom Johnsson.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM Sunday, February 23, 2014 at Wilmington Funeral Chapel. A private family service will be held at a later date.

    I worked with Connie at Network Real Estate and found that Connie was one of the sweetest people. She always had a smile and a pleasant greeting for everyone. We loved her and will surely miss Connie. I send my deepest sympathy to the family and to her friends. I, too, was a transplant from the Cleveland area (Mentor, OH).     As her daughter in law, married to David Krol for seven years, I absolutely loved her. We spoke even after David and I divorced. I have spoken to her about every six months. I'm so sorry for the loss. She was always so kind to me.
