Curtis Allen Ragan, 67, of Wilmington, NC formerly of Wilson, NC, passed away Monday, May 14, 2012 at his home.

He was born in Onslow Co., NC on March 26, 1945, the son of the late Walter Ragan, Jr., and Edna Pearl Koonce Ragan. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Wayne Ragan and a sister, Janice Ragan Mullen.

Surviving is his sister, Linda Ragan Russell of Wilmington, NC; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:00 pm Thursday, May 17, 2012 with a memorial service beginning at 7:00 pm at Wilmington Funeral Chapel. Officiating will be Pastor Tim Russell.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 930-B Wellness Drive, Greenville, NC 27834.

    Some of my fondest memories is fishing and clamming with Curtis. Along with spending time under the carport at dad's house just solving the worlds problems with him and the rest of the family. You will be missed. Linda my thoughts and prayers are with you.
