Cynthia Agro-Callahan


Cynthia Agro-Callahan of Wilmington, beloved wife of Alan Callahan, passed away on May 22, 2011 at the age of 58.

also surviving are her son Justin Joerman, mother Theresa Agro of Wilmington, sister Debra Whitney of Wilmington, sister Marylyn Schwartz and brother Dan Agro of Connecticut and adored nephew James Whitney and nieces Theresa and Lauren Whitney.

Cynthia was devoted to the care of animals, especially feral cats. Through her dedication, countless cats’ lives were spared and then they were adopted by loving families. Cynthia was a multi-talented artist and crafts woman. Her family and friends cherish the many hand made gifts given them over the years.
Her humor, humanity and kindness will be deeply missed. The fond memories of her will console and sustain all those who loved her.

Memorial Services will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at the St. Andrews-on-the-Sound Episcopal Church.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Cynthia’s memory to the Humane Society of Wilmington.
