Cynthia Kay Thomas, 55, of Rocky Point, NC, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
She was born in New Hanover Co. on February 24, 1957. She was a member of Wrightsboro Baptist Church.

Surviving is her husband, Walter Thomas of the home; son, Keven Bryan Thomas and wife, Laura of Rocky Point, NC; daughter, Mellisa Kay Mitchell of Wilmington, NC; five grandchildren; brother, Sammy Bailey of Leland, NC; also dear friend, Lynn Evans of Rocky Point, NC.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 – 1:30 pm Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Wilmington Funeral Chapel with a graveside service beginning at 2:00 pm Saturday at Bellevue Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Mike Lewis.
