    Walter Luffman says:
I worked with Dallas at the Winston Salem Police Dept. for the twenty years that he was there. I have never known a better man than he was. I was the first officer on the scene the dreadful day that he was shot. Dr. Stringer and I got there at the same time and Dr, Stringer saved his life at that time. The Lord had more work for him to do so he spared his life then. I am saddened to hear of his passing but maybe the Lord needs him now. God bless each one of you and stand by your side in Dallas' place.
