Dallas Thompson, Sr., age 75 of Castle Hayne entered into peaceful rest on Monday, September 2, 2013. His wife and children know that he fought a good fight and has finished his race.
He was born on November 21, 1937 to the late Johnny and Emma Thompson. Dallas was one of eight children, Hazel, John, Ruth, Pete, Florence, Raymond, and Ronald.
Dallas was a member of Castle Hayne Advent Christian Church, he spent 35 years working at Martin Marietta Aggregates in Castle Hayne where he was a drill operator and explosives expert. Dallas will leave a big void in our lives, but there are so many wonderful memories to look back on and laugh at. His family and friends were all so blessed to have known and loved him for so many years.
