Daniel Scott James, age 46 of Leland passed away Sunday, August 8, 2021 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

He was born in Wilmington on March 26, 1975.

Scott was a professional landscaper and worked for Clardy Professional Lawn Care.

Scott is survived by his wife, Rita Eddins James; daughter, Danielle Skylar James; his father, Friendly James, Jr.; sister, Tina Watts and brother in-law Josh Watts; nephew Alston Nobles and nieces, Hailey Gerald and Jenna Williams; and his sweet Pit Bull, “Life”.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 6-8 pm Friday, August 13, 2021 at Wilmington Funeral Chapel.
