Daniel Warren Fetner, age 17, of Wilmington, went to be home with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Wednesday, July 19, 2017.

Daniel is lovingly remembered by his father and mother, Chip and Jill Fetner of Wilmington, and also many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. In addition he leaves behind two cats, Abby and Gabby who he loved very much.

Daniel was born in Wilmington, NC on October 20, 1999. He was a rising senior at Pathways Middle & High School of Wilmington, a school dedicated to educating and nurturing students in a Christian environment.

Daniel was an avid bicyclist who loved to travel and fellowship with people along the way. He loved sharing his travel experiences with everyone. He also had a fascination with weather and was aspiring to become a meteorologist.

Most of all, Daniel was very involved with youth activities at Impact Church and Calvary Chapel, and was planning to go on a mission trip this month to minister to the homeless and indigent in the Orlando area.

The family will receive friends at a visitation to be held on Tuesday, August 1, 2017, from 6:00PM till 7:00PM at the Southside Baptist Church, 3320 S College Rd, Wilmington, NC 28412. A service to celebrate Daniel’s life will follow at 7:00PM.

    I've known Daniel since I was really little probably when I was 4, and I wanted to send mo consent and wanted to let his family know that I think of him all the time and there hasn't been one day when I haven't and I wish I could of seen him one more time before he passed Im sorry for everyone's loss
