    I spent my day Celebrating the Life of Darlene in honor of her Birthday. I started my morning replaying her voice messages on my answering machine (as I often do). I took her Urn from it's velvet box and displayed it on it's shelf. It's truly beautiful as my memories are of her and it is embossed with flying Doves in honor of her name Sharrow. I removed the necklace which contains her ashes from it's special place and put it carefully around my neck. I also took every opportunity to remind family members and those who knew her that today was her Birthday and we shared a memory or two of her. It was wonderful to hear the memories of Darlene that other people hold on to that keeps her alive in their hearts. Frank and I shared some of Darlene's favorite cake which she would have wanted for her birthday and I lit a special candle in her memory. All in all it was a beautiful day. I miss her dearly every day - but on this day - I Celebrate her Life. And I give thanks, for I am a better person just in having known her and been able to call her my Best Friend. I Love and Miss my Best Friend.

    Mom, Not a minute goes by that I don't think of you. I knew this day was coming but I couldn't have ever prepared for losing you. Frank & I both miss you more than you could imagine...but I guess you know that now. Please always let all of us know you're with us by visiting us in our dreams. I want to hug you & tell you I love you again! I miss you Mommy & I will be waiting for the day that we can be together again! Until then, tell Grandma that I love her & watch over the kids, Frank, Maria & I. I love you Mom!!! Love, your Bunny Rae
