Darlene Linda (Learn) Wise (49) of Southport, NC formerly of Reeders, PA passed away on July 28, 2011. Born on May 5, 1962 in East Stroudsburg, PA to Shirley (Shick) Learn and the late Darwin Learn.

She graduated from Pocono Mountain High School. She worked in the restaurant industry as a waitress/bartender in many of the Stroudsburg/East Stroudsburg restaurants and at Sanofi Pasteur in Swiftwater before moving to North Carolina. She, also, worked as a waitress/bartender on Bald Head Island, NC.

She was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast and enjoyed working on many arts and crafts. While in Southport, she volunteered regularly for the Habitat for Humanity.

She is survived by her companion-Paul Westbrook of Southport, NC; her sons Thomas Learn (Andrea) their sons Ryan and Jared of Scotrun, PA, and Sean Cramer of Reeders, PA; mother Shirley Learn of Lumberton, NC, step-mother Claire Learn of Scotrun, PA; grandmother Emma Shick of Henryville, PA; sister Valerie Widdoss-Novack (David) of Henryville, PA; brother Douglas Widdoss of Tannersville, PA. Aunt Jeanne Blackburn of Mountside, NJ; Aunt Catherine Young (Edward) of Providence, NC and Uncle Ronald Shick (Marigene) of Henryville, PA. She is, also, survived by many cousins.

She was predeceased by her father Darwin Learn; her ex-husband Thomas Cramer; her husband Thomas Wise; and her niece Kathleen Novack.

Memorial services will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, make memorial contributions to Habitat for Humanity of Brunswick County, 4170 Long Beach Rd SE, Southport, NC 28461 or a charity of your choice.
