    Brenda Jeffreys says:
Greg & Brian Very sad to get your note advising of David's passing. He worked so hard to be moble and get better. As you know, we grew up as cousins in Durham and shared many wonderful times. My thoughts, prayers and best wishes to all of the family.

    Charles Moore says:
I want to express my gratitude to Davis for all he has done to preserve the Moore heritage. While I have never met him, my family and I drove by the Mt. Tirzah property a couple of years ago, and were amazed at the care that David expended to preserve and restore this historic property. My family and I want to extend our condolences to David's immediate family. Charles Moore

    Sandra Moore Shoffner says:
All of Stephen Moore's descendants, including myself, are going to miss David terribly. I first found David through his blog, and I feel I also found a kindred spirit. We all loved his Moore family stories and his wit and his willingness to share his years of research. David encouraged us all to keep digging even when we thought there was nothing else new to dig up. I only knew him a few short years, but I feel as if I had always known him. Rest in peace, David.
