David Leroy Clark Jr.

David Leroy Clark Jr., 55 of Wilmington passed away on Friday, April 8, 2016 at New Hanover Regional Hospital. He was born in Miami, Florida on May 20, 1960. David moved to Wilmington as an infant, where he continued to call home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kathleen Driggers Clark and David Leroy Clark Sr., and by his sister Cathy Clark Blackmon. He is survived by sisters, Joyce Clark Easter (Stan) and Nancy Clark Carter; brother Albert Thomas Clark “ Kayo “; nephew, Scott Blackmon; nieces, Heather Thorpe and Lisa Blackmon; aunt Betty Afton. David was known for his infectious smile and great story telling. In his spare time he enjoyed working on anything mechanical. He was surrounded by his family until the end and will be dearly missed.

His visitation will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2016 from 2 to 3 p.m. in the Chapel of Wilmington Funeral & Cremation with a memorial service following at 3 p.m.
