So sorry to hear about David. I met David many years ago when we both worked at the Fort Magruder Hotel in the 70's. When I moved to Hampton in 2001, I reestablished contact through mutual friends, but had not seen him in a couple of years. David was such a nice individual and a hard worker. My condolences to the family.

Please accept my deepest sympathy. I knew David for a very long time beginning when we rode the bus together on way to Buckroe Jr High. He was always fun and I enjoyed being aroud him. I truly thought in college he would be a cheer leader as he loved to do the cheers when we were at Buckroe. I always wondered what happened to him. I especially am thinking of his mother as I know this is very difficult for her. Blesssings to you all. Penney Stott Martin

    Joe Drewry says:
Dear Linda & Lonnie, Bonnie & Jim, & family, I had the good fortune to spend time with your loving family many years ago and experience the love and support you shared as a family, including the departed Nora and Skeet. I have such fond memories of David over the years, particularly during the time we sailed together. It was great to reconnect through our time together at St. John's Church in Hampton. David will be missed, especially that easy going way of dealing with life's challenges with a friendly and open smile. I'm so glad we shared a portion of the journey.
