Daynne Lea Peele, beloved daughter, wife, stepmother, sister, and aunt, was born on May 28, 1970, in Wilmington, North Carolina. Sadly, she passed away on January 22, 2024, in her hometown.Daynne Lea’s time on this earth lasted for 53 years, during which she touched countless lives with her kind and nurturing spirit.
Daynne Lea’s greatest joy in life was being with her family. She cherished every moment spent in their company, creating treasured memories that will forever live in the hearts of her loved ones. Her dedication to family extended beyond her immediate relatives, as she found solace and guidance in her faith and church community at Lake Forest Baptist Church.
Throughout her life, Daynne Lea was a source of strength and love, always ready to lend a helping hand or offer words of encouragement to those around her. Her unwavering commitment to her loved ones was evident in the deep bond she shared with her husband, Carlos P. Miguel.
Daynne Lea’s caring nature extended to her stepsons, Michael Paul Carlos and Joseph Carlos Perez, who found a loving and supportive figure in her. She was a pillar of support and love for them, providing guidance and warmth in their lives.
In addition to her immediate family, Daynne Lea is survived by her father, William Daniel Peele Sr. of Michigan, brother, William “Bill” Daniel Peele Jr. and his wife, Bella of Cary, NC. Also left to cherish her memory are her nieces, Mary Peele and Isabella Peele, two aunts Judy B. Parlatore, Selena Brigman and husband Randy Brigman of Wilmington. Many cousins who were fortunate enough to experience her unconditional love and kindness.
She is preceded in death by her mother Ruby Blanton Peele.
As we mourn the loss of Daynne Lea, we take comfort in the knowledge that her spirit will continue to shine brightly within each of us. Though her journey on this earth has come to an end, her legacy of love, compassion, and faith will endure forever.
A celebration of Daynne Lea’s life will be held at Lake Forest Baptist Church, February 17, 2024 at 11:00 A.M., allowing friends and family to come together, share stories, and honor her memory.
