    Martha C. McIntosh says:
I am profoundly saddened by the demise of this beautiful loving, caring and unselfishly giving nurse who was also a friend. I was one of the privileged who worked with her for a number of years when I was the social worker on the oncology floor and I observed firsthand her dedication to those for whom she cared. Love for her family was evident and passion for the best care for her patients was unmatched. She will never be replaced and I and so many others will miss her but remember her with much love and respect. Thank you Debbie for all that you were and all that you gave to so many . You made a tremendous difference and will be remembered fondly.

    Jane Old says:
I am so sorry to hear this news. We worked together many years ago. Our sisters died of cancer close to the same time and we shared many moments remembering them and working together on our grief. She could make me laugh so that I could keep going. She was a wonderful nurse, very smart and compassionate. I am sad for the grief that you will be experiencing and my thoughts will be with you. I know that she will be greatly missed. Jane Old
