Debra Parker Hewett

Debra Parker Hewett, a beloved Wife, Mother, and Memaw, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2023, at the age of 63. Born in Wilmington, NC on October 2, 1959, Debra was a simple woman who found joy in the simple things in life.

Debra’s most cherished role was that of a Mother who dedicated her life to raising her children. She was a loving and devoted wife to her late husband Randy Hewett, who preceded her in death. Debra was also a doting Memaw to her ten grandchildren whom she adored.

In her free time, Debra enjoyed playing cards and indulging in her favorite drink, Mountain Dew. She will always be remembered for her kind heart, infectious smile, and unwavering love for her family.

Debra is survived by her son Randy Hewett Jr. and his wife Jennifer, her daughters Jennifer Granda and her husband Frankie, and Crystal Hollis and her husband Daulton, Grandchildren Mathieu, Madisyn, Parker, Jacob, Jaiden, Jace, Kaylynn, Karson, Briana, and Saida. She is also survived by her brother Angus Parker, along with many nieces and nephews.

A long with her husband she is preceded in death by her parents Joe and Mary Parker, one brother Hugh Parker.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at 9:30AM to celebrate Debra’s life and legacy. Though she may be gone, her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Rest in peace,
