Dempsey Martin Hurley age 75 of Wilmington passed away Monday, April 3, 2017.

He was born in Randolph County, NC on December 8, 1941. His parents were Randall Martin Hurley and Martha Honey Hurley.
Dempsey was a professional truck driver for many years and was retired from Kenan Transport.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Alberta Farlow Hurley; daughter, Theresa Cooper of Winnabow; two sons, Terry Wayne Hurley of Wilmington, and William Todd Hurley of Burgaw. Five grandchildren; one brother and two sisters.

A memorial service will be held 11 am Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Pineview Baptist Church in the Flemington Community officiated by Rev. David Robbins and Rev. Patricia Malpass.
