Ms. Dianne Moss, daughter of the late George Herbert and Josephine Rooker, peacefully passed away on January the 14th after a sustained illness. Diane was born on September the 12th 1952 in Warrenton North Carolina and moved to Wilmington North Carolina in July of 1982. She was a dedicated and faithful member of Pine Valley United Methodist Church. Dianne lived a fruitful and selfless life, encouraging all of those that were fortunate enough to come into contact with her. Dianne loved to cook for her family and church, and took great pride in her arts and crafts. Diane possessed a genuinely kind smile and an uncanny sense of humor. She will be sorely missed but her legacy will live eternal through the example that she set while here on Earth.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Pine Valley United Methodist Church on Wednesday, January the 16th at 1:00 PM. Dianne will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Wilmington NC. Phillip Turnage says:
Diane was, and is a beautiful soul. Her smile encouraged all of those around her and her good nature was infectious. She was a talented and creative person that valued the simple things in life. I still have all of the wonderful cards that she made for me. I will cherish them forever. She will be sorely missed. Thank you for all of the insight and encouragement. All of those that knew her loved her and we will continue to live by the example that you set.
