Margaret Dianne Rising, 60, of Wilmington went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday January 7, 2009.
She is preceded in death by her husband William Authur Rising Jr.,her mother Mary Bordeaux, Father Isaac Wilkins, brother Keith Wilkins and Aunt and Uncle Grover and Betty Mae Harrelson.
Dianne has left behind two sons, William Rising III, and Brian Keith Rising both of Wilmington. Grandchildren, James Bell II, of Hammond, IN., Sterling Lee, of Wilmington, Kenny Rising, Angel Rising, Calen Rising and Lainey Rising all of Delco, N.C. and her sister, Minnie Marie Balentine of Kelly, N.C.
Dianne had a long hard battle with breast cancer but through it all she kept her faith and hope in the Lord Jesus Christ. Dianne selflessly has given herself for research.
A celebration of life service will be announced at a later time.
