Dolores Overcash Swann, 78 of Wilmington passed away November 1, 2010 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice & LifeCareCenter.

She was born October 13, 1932 to the late Eunice and Jackson (Jack) Overcash. Dolores was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved gardening, visiting the NC mountains and talking to everyone. She never met a stranger. Dolores was a member of Myrtle Grove Presbyterian Church.

Dolores is survived by her husband of 61 years Creasy A. Swann, Jr, son Chris (Judy) Swann, daughter Jackie (Gary) Parrish, 4 grandchildren Lee and Gwen Parrish, Lisa Pope and Christopher Swann, 3 great grandchildren Matthew and Connor Pope and Khloe McGhee, 2 sisters Doris Donatto and Diana Edwards and special friends Lisa and Kenneth Lovitt.

A memorial service will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 4, 2010 at Wilmington Burial and Cremation Service.

The family would like to thank the staff at Autumn Care of Myrtle Grove and Lower Cape Fear Hospice for the loving care they provided during her illness.
