Donald Friese, age 85, of Wilmington passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2014.

Our family is broken hearted with the passing of Don Friese. He was a kind and gentle, loving and genuine person.

A US Air Force vet, he leaves behind his wife of 62 years, Bev Friese, his sons Tony Friese, Kirk Friese and wife Stacey, daughter Michelle Coleman and husband Jeff, and grandchildren Josh, Tia, Jessica, James, Justin, Dylan and Peyton; sisters, Shirley Kennedy and Dorothy Hermann; and brother Duane Friese and many nieces and nephews.

He lived a long and happy life with many blessings. He was deeply loved and will be sorely missed

A celebration of his life will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at St Pauls Lutheran Church, 12 N. 6th Street, Wilmington, NC 28401.
