Donald Ray Burris, Jr. died August 5, 2009 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice LifeCareCenter.

Donnie was born November 19, 1950 in Wilmington, NC. He was the son of Joyce Moore Burris and the late Donald Ray Burris Sr.

Donnie is survived by two sisters, Ann Mintz, Linda Woodall and his two children George and Sarah Burris, and two grandchildren.

Donnie worked with G.E. and retired with 38 years of service.

Service will be held at Wilmington Burial and Cremation, Wednesday, August 12, at 8:00pm, where the family will receive friends from 7:00 – 8:00 PM
The family will receive guests at the home of Linda Woodall during other times.

In lieu of flowers the family asks memorial gifts go to the Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401.
