Doris Fowler Long, 86, of Wilmington, NC, passed away Friday, January 18, 2013, at Autumn Care of Myrtle Grove.

Mrs. Long was born in Tabor City, NC, to the late Gordon Ed and Ruth May Fowler. She was the widow of Edward Carpenter Long. She was a member of Federal Point Pentecostal Church in Myrtle Grove and was the owner of Myrtle Grove Nursery, on of the first day cares in Myrtle Grove.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
