Doris Jean Williams, age 83, of Wilmington, passed away on Saturday, April 29,2017, at her home in the warm embrace of her family.

She was born in Wilmington on March 8, 1934, the daughter of Jake Willetts and Mittie Ray Carroll Willetts.

Doris is survived by her children Tony Williams, Jr. and wife Barbara, Sandra Farrow and husband Robert, Debra Ferguson and husband Paul, Connie Cameron and Donald Williams, 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Together with her parents she was predeceased by her husband Tony Williams, Sr. and grandchildren Sandra Bernice Starling and Daniel Williams.

The family will receive friends from 7:00pm till 9:00pm on Monday, May 1, 2017, at the Wilmington Funeral Chapel.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday at Oleander Memorial Gardens.
