Doris M. Connor,90, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Champions Assisted Living – Davis Community after a sudden illness.

Doris was born on April 30,1928 in Philadelphia, PA to John and Rachel Connor.

She is survived by her 3 Nieces, who were like daughters: Joyce Clark ( Richard High ), Kathryn Strunk ( Harold ), Jane DiNola ( Gennaro ) and many great nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Doris was predeceased by her parents and brother John Connor (Alice).

She was employed for many years by The State of Pennsylvania and The Episcopal Diocese. Doris was also a parishioner of Gloria Dei Old Swedes Episcopal Church.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 10:00AM at Gloria Dei Old Swedes Episcopal Church 916 S. Swanson Street, Philadelphia, PA 19147 with burial to follow at Fernwood Cemetery 6501 Baltimore Ave., Lansdowne, PA 19050.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Gloria Dei Old Swedes Episcopal Church.

    I was so lucky to have you in my life. As I told you many times, you were like having another Mom. You were right, we did have the same quirky sense of humor and I will miss your laugh most of all. Cheers to a woman who loved adventure, cherished her family and friends, and definitively was born way ahead of her time. I'll keep those stories going for the next generation.
