Doris Riggs Smith

Doris Riggs Smith, 71 of Wilmington, NC passed away Thursday, August 13, 2015 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

She was the daughter of the late James Thomas Riggs and Nola Justice Riggs.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband, James G. Smith.

I am truly sorry for your loss. During such difficult times I find comfort in the scriptures. Isaiah 25:8 tells us that God will swallow up death forever. Can you imagine a time when no one will die? What about our loved ones that have already been lost? John 5:28, 29 says "the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." God promises us that he will resurrect those who have been a victim of death. I hope that this future promise brings you so comfort and again I am truly sorry for your loss.
