Dorothy Mae Williams, age 74, of Wilmington passed away December 13, 2014 at her home. Dorothy was born in Danbury, CT on June 26, 1940 to the late Edward and Clara Roberts.

In 1963 Mrs. Williams married her first husband William S. Marks, and they had five children. After 10 years of marriage Dorothy and Mr. Marks divorced in 1973. In 1977 she married her second husband James Williams until his death a year and a half later in 1978. Dorothy never remarried after the loss of her beloved James, and was a widow from the time of his passing until her death.

Mrs. Williams is survived by her brother; Johnny and wife Mary of Hyde Park, NY, her sisters; Lorraine and husband Harry of NY, and Dee Peruse of Dunedin, FL, also her sister-in-law; Connie Roberts, sons; Wayne Wibberly, Daniel Illig, and Christopher Wibberly, her daughters; Lorraine Kelly and husband Michael, and Tammy Illig, many grandchildren including; “Little” Daniel, Richard, Lorraine, Nathaniel, Crystal and Mary, and numerous, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and treasured friends.

A memorial service to celebrate Mrs. Williams’ life will be held Friday, December 19, 2014 at 7pm at Pine Valley Church of God. Located at 3810 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, NC 28403 With the Pastor Larry Horrell officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior from 6pm to 7pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Pine Valley Church of God, at 3810 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, NC 28403.
