The family let my brother and I stay with them while we were transferring from another high school. The whole family welcomed us with open arms when most of the people in the community did not. Great man! Great family! RIP

Doc was a great gentleman. He helped my entire football team by performing physicals for all the boys at no charge. He was constant on the sidelines watching his son, Joe, play ball and throw the discus. He will truly be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to all his sons and their families and to his wife. Rest in Peace Doc.
