Dr. Steven Stein


Dr. Stein was born in Boston MA, where he lived his early years before moving to Dallas, TX. After high school he went to the University of VA, earning a BS in 1971, to Boston University, graduating in 1973, then on to the University of PA for his DMD in 1978.

Following a 30-year dental practice in DC, Dr. Stein retired to Wilmington in 2011, where he enjoyed working in his yard, golfing, cooking, and DIY projects.

Dr. Stein is survived by his wife, Pamela Evans Stein; brother, Dr. James Stein (Andrea); brother-in-law, Russell Evans, Sr. (Vicki); nephews, Michael Stein, Dr. Brett Stein, Dalton and Lee Evans, and Russell Evans, Jr. (Shiloh); nieces, Jennifer Dunfee (Kenny) and Katelyn Jones (Cole). Also surviving are several great nieces and nephews.

A memorial and celebration of life will be held Saturday,  February 10, 2018 2:30 p.m. at Wilmington Funeral Chapel.
