Duane Alan Cone, age 52 of Wilmington passed away Monday, June 27, 2022.
Duane was born in Wilson, NC on April 1, 1970.
He is survived by his father, Jimmy Cone, Sr. of Wilmington, NC; mother Ann Cone of Wilson, NC; one brother, Jimmy Cone, Jr. of Hot Springs, AR; one sister, Michelle Cone of Wilson, NC; nephews Carrington Cone of Waxhaw, NC & Chandler Cone of Arden, NC & his beloved dog, “Max”.
Duane loved being on the water, riding his motorcycle & spending time with Max. He was successful in many areas of his work life including restaurants, auto sales, & most recently roofing.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the animal rescue of your choice.
Memorial services are planned for Saturday, July 2, 2022 at Wilmington Funeral Chapel. The visitation will begin at 12 noon, followed by the service at 1 pm led by Rev. Barry Stalling from Pine Valley United Methodist Church.
