Edward George “Ratt” Gore, 51 of Leland, entered into eternal peace on Thursday, February 6, 2014.

Edward, better known as “Ratt”, was born in New Hanover County on February 12, 1962 and was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Gore.

Surviving are his father, Jimmy Gore; his wife, Tammy; daughter, Tiffany Nicole Gore; son, E.C. Gore; two brothers, William Gore and wife, Barbara, and Michael Gore of Leland.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, February 11, 2014, 1:00 PM at Shiloh United Methodist Church, Maco Road, Leland, NC. The family will receive friends at the church 12 noon until the time of the service.
