Harrell Hinson 60, of Burgaw died Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

Harrell was born in Columbus County May 20, 1950 the son of the late Seth and Annie Jane Cartret Hinson. He was employed by the US Postal Service “Burgaw Post Office”, as a rural mail carrier.

Surviving is his wife of 34 years Connie Hinson, daughter Mandy O’Hara and husband John of Wilmington, son Seth Hinson and wife Magen of Burgaw, and a grandson Auron, brothers Seth Hinson, Jr, of CO, Thurman Hinson of Kernersville, NC, sisters Thelma Hinson, Betty Tedder, Margie Buffkin, Bobbie Purser of Whiteville and Gladys Joines of Fayetteville.

A celebration of Life service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Silver Lake Baptist Church, 4715 Carolina Beach Road, Wilmington. The family will see friends from 1:00pm until service time.

Memorials may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401.
