Eileen E. Weisgerber “Matriarch of the family” of Wilmington, NC was born on September 9, 1945 and passed away on November 17, 2022 in Wilmington, NC, completing her journey of 77 years.

She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at 12:00PM, at St. Therese Catholic Church: 209 S. Lumina Avenue, Wrightsville Beach, with Rev. William Upah officiating. A reception will follow in the Parish Hall.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory: her husband of 54 years, Frank Weisgerber; one son, Keith Weisgerber (fiancée Mary Ellen Curran); one daughter, Denise Perkowski (husband Jim); three grandchildren – Danielle Weisgerber, Megan Weisgerber, James Perkowski Jr.; one sister, Kathy Cox (husband Joe); one brother, Ed Madigan (wife Ellen) and many nieces and nephews. Her friends too, cherish her memory, and they in turn meant everything to her.

Memorial donations may be made directly to Parent Autism Wyoming to help her grandson with autism, and the many kids just like him. Eileen was one of her grandson’s biggest supporters and James loved his Nana.
