    Sheila Osann says:
I knew Ellie from playing bridge. She was a great marathon partner and fun person to know. She always gave of herself and I've been the lucky recipient of her kindness. She crocheted snowflakes for my Christmas tree after her attempts to teach a lefty how to crocheted failed. I will miss her

    Shannon McFall says:
Gary, Laura & Barbara - I'm so sorry for your loss. Aunt Ellie was truly the sweetest lady. I was lucky enough to spend some additional time visiting my Nana and Aunt Ellie down in Wilmington back in my 20's/30's. I adored her as a kid but I really enjoyed being around her as an adult. I still think of her anytime I see cute little hippos, too, as I remember how much she liked them. I hope your mom and my Nana and Aunt Aggie and Uncle Willie are all whooping it up in Heaven right now... With my deepest sympathy and much love, Shannon
