Memorial Gifts & Donations

Elizabeth Bray Daughtry, affectionately known as Beth, peacefully passed away on December 17, 2023, at the age of 74. She was born on March 19, 1949, in Spartanburg, South Carolina, to her loving parents, James and Geneva Bray.

Beth valiantly battled Mantle Cell Lymphoma, displaying incredible strength and courage throughout her journey. Despite the challenges she faced, Beth remained positive and determined, cherishing every moment with her family and friends.

Crafting held a special place in Beth’s heart, allowing her to express her creativity and bring joy to others through her handmade creations. She found immense happiness in spending quality time with her grandchildren, creating lasting memories filled with love and laughter. Bingo nights were also a favorite pastime for Beth, as she enjoyed the thrill of the game and the camaraderie it brought.

Beth had a discerning eye for fashion and delighted in shopping, particularly at Hamricks, where she discovered unique pieces to add to her stylish wardrobe. Her outings for lunch with friends were cherished occasions, as she relished in the company of those she loved.

Beth is survived by her devoted husband, James Daughtry, who stood by her side throughout their journey together. She also leaves behind two loving children, Ronda Daughtry Royall and Mabel Daughtry, who will forever carry her memory in their hearts. Her granddaughter, Whitney Baker, and great-grandchildren, Bentley Gregory and Willow Baker, brought immeasurable joy to her life and will continue to be a testament to her legacy.

In addition to her parents, Beth was preceded in death by her best friend, Linda, who shared countless adventures and laughter with her.

As per Beth’s wishes, no services will be held to celebrate her life. Instead, her family kindly requests that you honor her memory by cherishing the time spent with your loved ones and embracing the simple joys that life has to offer.

Beth’s warm smile, kind heart, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in eternal peace.

    Lois Basiliere says:
Beth and I used to have a lot of laughs and, when she worked with me, she enjoyed delivering packages to board members that gave her the opportunity to bust her mom when she was alive and get lunch outside the building. She was not fond of being on switchboard as backup person; however she did so with a smile. She helped a great deal and so did Ronnie when I was without a car and helped me find a car. The last I saw Beth was at a luncheon and she was very positive about what she was going through with her illness. What a strong woman! Prayers to all the family. Lois Basiliere

My dear sister! I will always member your love ... you came in my life when I was 5 years old and you married my brother. From sleep overs when he was in Vietnam, taking care of me when I broke my arm, always there when Mom was sick to being by my side while i was in labor with all three of my kids. You were always there. The best big sister and friend God could give me.. I will see you again one day!
