    Kayla says:
Hi my name is Kayla and I am a local bible teacher. I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one. There is a very comforting scripture at Isaiah 25:8. It says that soon Jehovah will swallow up death forever and that he will wipe away all of the tears. So we can all look forward to a time when death will be no more. I hope that this scripture can bring some true comfort during these difficult times.

    Karen Hofacker-Gordon says:
I am so very sorry for your great loss. I loved Lisa, and will miss her more than I can say. I worked with her for several years at the portrait studio in Gimbels in New York. I was in my early twenties, and she was a wonderful mentor to me, encouraging and teaching me so much about portrait photography. My mother was from Germany, so Lisa and I sometimes spoke in German. I moved to Denver in 1975, but Lisa and I stayed in touch with yearly Christmas cards. We started phoning one another around once every month or two for the last years. I tried to call her recently, but the phone just rang and rang, so I got worried, and looked online, hoping not to find anything. Sadly I found that she had died on Dec. 6. I am sorry that I wasn't able to say goodbye to her, or tell her one more time how much I appreciated her wonderful support in my early years as a photographer. I am still doing portraiture, and owe my attention to detail to her. She was a lovely, kind person, who I will miss. I am glad that she enjoyed her life, and it was clear to me that she loved her family and friends very much. Was her beloved dog adopted by someone? I would love to hear from any family members who would be willing to talk with me. Karen 303-433-0355
