Ellen Wemyss Granade


Dr. Ellen Wemyss Granade Pharm. D., age 35, of Calabash N.C. passed away Sunday, Nov. 20th, 2011 at her home.

She is survived by her husband Grant Granade, and two sons Garrett & Eli Granade; her parents Phillip and Nancy Wemyss; Grandmother Virginia Bellamy; sisters, Dr. Carrie Danford Pharm. D. and husband, Richard Danford and Ginny Pridgen and husband, John Tate and their children, Elijah and Johnna Pridgen; brother James Wemyss and wife, Fallon; niece Rachel Danford; nephews William and Thomas Danford. As well as her life long best friend, Jessica Benton.

Ellen achieved a Doctorate in Pharmaceutical Science from Campbell University and was an employee at CVS in Seaside.

The family will receive friends beginning at 10:30 am Saturday, November 26, 2011 followed by a memorial service at 12 pm at St. Lukes Lutheran Church 5869 Ocean Hwy West, Ocean Isle Beach, NC.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the “Ellen Granade Cancer Fund” which may be taken to First Bank. Also, donations may be made to Saint Luke Lutheran Preschool.
