Elsie Louise (Hume) Morgan, 79, of Wilmington, NC, passed away on
September 29, 2020, in Wilmington, NC.

Elsie Louise Hume was born in Ralston, Oklahoma to John Wallace Hume
and Elsie Marie (Whitson) Hume on November 17, 1940.

Elsie was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Morgan. Elsie and Douglas were married on December 21, 1957, in Shidler, Oklahoma. She was a loving wife and mother.

Elsie is survived by her daughter Novella Sue Frieslander, her son John Scott Morgan, her granddaughters Tonya Marie Reynolds, Crystal Renee Hubbard, and Jessica Lynn Morgan, and her great-grandchildren, Serenity Novella Ann Perry, Tobius James Lee Perry, and Sadfyre Azura Rain Hubbard. She is also survived by her brother James Wallace Hume and sister Brenda Joyce Hume Rath.

    I remember going to see the disney movie Bambi with her when I was married to her son. We had to take the truck to the garage and then decided to walk back to her house. We were talking about movies and the grandkids and she found out I had never seen Bambi and it was playing in the theatre on Oleander so we walked over and got tickets and watched the movie. It was a great time.
