Eric Campbell Jamison 53, of Wilmington and Greensboro, North Carolina, passed away Friday, February 28, 2014.

Eric was born on December 25, 1960 in Roanoke, Virginia.

Eric was a successful small business owner who adored his chocolate lab Bella, loved his family and friends well and had a joy for life that will be sorely missed.

He was preceded in death by his father Euell Claude (E.C.) Jamison Jr.

He is survived by his mother Colleen Jamison of Hillsville, VA, daughters Danielle and Haley Jamison of Greensboro, NC, sister Adrienne Jamison Price and her husband Steve of Roanoke, VA, along with two uncles, three aunts, sixteen cousins and fiancée Grace Hodgkins.

Services will be held 2pm Friday March 7, 2014 at Raleigh Court United Methodist Church Grandin Road, Roanoke, VA with the Rev. Milton Marks officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Pender County Humane Society, PCHS P.O. Box 626 Burgaw, NC 28425 or penderhumane.org/donate.

    Just heard of Eric's Passing this morning and wanted to extend our sincere condolences to Grace and everyone he left behind. He was one of the nicest warmest people we have come in contact with. He worked on our house and helped us in so many ways, we will forever be grateful. We are very sad at the news of his passing.

    I will keep the family in my prayers. I was not fortunate enough to meet Eric in person but his sister Adrienne was one of my closest friends in high school and I have had no contact with her in 31 years and have attempted to find her so she can meet my family.
