Born in Puerto Rico November 7, 1954 the son on the late Rafael Ramirez Rodriguez and Carmen Palmira Vera Delgado Rodriguez. He was employed by the government at the Marine base in Jacksonville.
Surviving are his wife of 35 years Raquel Ramirez, sons Joaquin Rentas of New York; Abdon Ortiz, Jr. of Jacksonville; Roberto Ortiz, of Jacksonville; daughter Ivonne Torres, of New York. Ten grandchildren.
